Refund Policy

General policy: all fees are non-refundable. Percision provides software-as-a-service and AI compute services that are consumed upon delivery. Once an analysis run is initiated, or a billing period commences, the underlying compute and infrastructure costs are incurred and cannot be recovered. Please review this Policy carefully before making any purchase.

1. General Rule — No Refunds

All payments to Percision are final and non-refundable unless an explicit exception in Section 7 of this Policy applies. This applies to all payment types: monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, Pay-Per-Run charges, consulting add-on sessions, and any other fees charged by Percision.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you have read this Refund Policy, that you understand the non-refundable nature of all charges, and that you waive any right to a refund except as expressly provided in Section 7.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

2.1 No Refunds for Commenced Billing Periods. Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Once a billing period has commenced, no refund is available for that period under any circumstances, including if you cancel your account during the billing period, downgrade your plan, or fail to use the Platform.

2.2 Access Continues Until Period End. If you cancel a monthly subscription, your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods.

2.3 No Prorations. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, partial feature use, or plan downgrades.

3. Annual Subscriptions

3.1 Fully Non-Refundable. Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for a full 12-month period. Annual subscription fees are entirely non-refundable, including if you cancel your subscription before the end of the 12-month period, upgrade or downgrade your plan, or cease using the Platform.

3.2 Cancellation. If you cancel an annual subscription, your access continues until the end of the 12-month subscription period. No refund is issued for the remaining months.

3.3 Renewal. Annual subscriptions renew automatically. You may turn off automatic renewal at least 7 days before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next annual period. Renewal charges are non-refundable once processed.

4. Pay-Per-Run Charges

4.1 Non-Refundable Upon Initiation. Pay-Per-Run charges are processed and the analysis pipeline is initiated upon successful payment. Once the analysis run is initiated — defined as the moment Percision's servers begin processing your inputs — the charge is fully non-refundable regardless of whether you view, download, or use the resulting Output.

4.2 Abandoned Runs. If a Pay-Per-Run is initiated but you do not complete the input process or close your browser before Output is generated, no refund is available. The compute costs are incurred from the moment processing begins.

4.3 Upgrade Credit. The 50% discount offered on first Analyst month subscriptions to Pay-Per-Run buyers is a one-time promotional credit applied to a future subscription. It has no cash value and is not refundable.

5. Consulting Add-On Sessions

5.1 Scheduled Sessions. All consulting add-on sessions (Intake Session, Strategy Deep-Dive, Monthly Advisory Retainer) are non-refundable once payment is confirmed.

5.2 Cancellation by Client. If you cancel or fail to attend a scheduled session with less than 48 hours' notice, the full session fee is forfeited. With more than 48 hours' notice, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a one-time reschedule within 30 days with no credit or refund issued.

5.3 Cancellation by Percision. If Percision cancels a scheduled session, we will offer a reschedule or, if reschedule is not possible, a credit equal to the session fee applicable to a future session within 90 days.

6. Free Trials

Free trials do not involve any payment, so no refund is applicable. If you convert a free trial to a paid subscription, the subscription fee charged at conversion is subject to this Refund Policy. There are no refunds for converted subscription charges.

7. Narrow Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Issued

Refunds are granted solely in the circumstances listed below, subject to Percision's verification and sole discretion. No refund will be issued if you do not raise the issue within the timeframe specified in Section 11.

Percision may, in its sole discretion, issue a refund or account credit only in the following circumstances:

  • Verified Platform Outage: The Platform was completely inaccessible due to a Percision-side technical failure for an uninterrupted period of more than 24 consecutive hours during your active subscription period, as verified by Percision's internal monitoring. For monthly subscriptions, a prorated credit for the verified downtime days may be applied. For Pay-Per-Run, a credit may be applied if the analysis could not be initiated at all (not if it was initiated but produced unexpected Output).
  • Duplicate Charge: You were charged twice for the same transaction due to a technical error on our payment system. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded in full.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: A charge was made to your payment method without your authorization and you have reported the issue in accordance with Section 11 and cooperated with our investigation.

The following are expressly not grounds for a refund:

  • Dissatisfaction with the quality, accuracy, or usefulness of Output;
  • Change of mind after purchase;
  • Failure to use the Platform or any features during a billing period;
  • Switching to a competing product;
  • Misunderstanding of the Platform's features or limitations prior to purchase;
  • Partial platform degradation or slowness that does not constitute a complete outage;
  • Third-party integrations (Power BI, Stripe, Gamma, etc.) being unavailable;
  • Changes to Percision's features, pricing, or terms;
  • Force majeure events including network outages, internet disruptions, or acts of God.

8. How to Cancel Your Subscription

To cancel your subscription and prevent future charges:

  • Option A — Account Settings: Log in to your Percision account and navigate to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription.
  • Option B — Email: Send a cancellation request to info@percision.app with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation — [your registered email]." We will process and confirm cancellation within 2 business days.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You are responsible for initiating cancellation. Percision does not proactively cancel subscriptions on your behalf, and failure to use the Platform does not constitute cancellation.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution without first contacting Percision and following the dispute process in Section 11, Percision reserves the right to:

  • Immediately suspend or terminate your account;
  • Dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation;
  • Collect any outstanding amounts through third-party collection agencies;
  • Permanently ban you from creating future accounts.

We strongly encourage you to contact us at info@percision.app before initiating any bank dispute. We resolve good-faith billing issues promptly and prefer to do so directly.

10. Refund Process

Where a refund has been approved under Section 7, the following applies:

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to your card issuer's processing time.
  • We do not issue refunds by cheque, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency.
  • If the original payment method is no longer valid, we may issue an account credit applicable to future Percision services.
  • Percision is not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution.

11. Dispute Timeframe — 7-Day Limit

All billing disputes, refund requests, and claims of unauthorized charges must be submitted to Percision in writing within seven (7) calendar days of the charge appearing on your payment method. Disputes submitted after this period will not be considered, except where prohibited by applicable mandatory consumer protection law.

Submit disputes to: info@percision.app with the subject "Billing Dispute" and include your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and a description of the issue.

12. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies that you may have under mandatory consumer protection legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract. Where such legislation applies, your statutory rights are preserved.

In particular, certain provinces in Canada and certain EU/UK jurisdictions provide statutory cooling-off periods or other consumer rights for digital services. Where such rights apply to your specific transaction, this Policy does not override them. However, digital services that have been substantially performed with your consent prior to the end of any cooling-off period may not be subject to withdrawal rights under applicable law.

13. Changes to This Policy

Percision reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page with a new "Last Updated" date and by providing notice to registered users. Changes apply to transactions made after the effective date of the change. If you disagree with changes to this Policy, you should cancel your subscription before the new Policy takes effect.
